Welcome to PequEmociones!

We are excited to announce that PequEmociones,
a brand new Early Childhood Education Centre, will be opening soon!

We will start by welcoming our littlest learners, ages 0 to 3, and in the years to come,
we will be growing to include children ages 3 to 6.

Our mision

At PequeEmociones, we recognise the uniqueness of each child. We understand that individual development follows its own path, with unique needs and experiences.

Our main objective is to nurture children’s natural curiosity through experiential, fun and, above all, personalised learning. Our mission transcends providing a safe, inclusive and stimulating space to explore, learn and grow. We aspire to build a community together with our families, where we are all committed to the linguistic, motor, social and emotional development of our students. We strive to provide tools that promote personal growth in a demanding world, firmly believing that it is never too early to learn to be our best selves.

Educational programmes

At PequeEmociones, we adopt an educational approach that balances linguistic immersion in English without neglecting Spanish, the language of our environment. Through active methodologies, we encourage bilingualism from an early age, preparing our students for a globalised world, while respecting our roots and culture. Despite our focus on a technological future, with robotics activities in the second cycle to develop critical thinking and problem solving, we choose to keep our classrooms screen-free. We believe that the school should be a place of interactive learning, where curiosity and creativity flourish. Our pedagogical approach emphasises reading and emotional management, providing a solid foundation for each child’s personal and academic development, attending to their individual differences, difficulties and successes.

Classroom Divisions

Little Caterpillars
(4 months to 1 year)

Inspired by "The Very Hungry Caterpillar", this programme invites the youngest ones on a journey of sensory discovery and early stimulation. Through activities reflecting the caterpillar's growth and transformation, we promote exploration of colours, textures, and shapes, supporting the cognitive and motor development of babies. This safe and welcoming space embraces diversity and promotes inclusion from the earliest years.

Little Giraffes
(1 to 2 years)

Inspired by "Giraffes Can't Dance", this programme encourages children to find their own rhythm. Through activities blending literacy, basic mathematics, and science with music and movement, we reinforce self-esteem, perseverance, and acceptance of differences, preparing children for school in an environment of inclusion and mutual respect.

Little Fish
(2 to 3 years)

Based on "The Pout-Pout Fish", this programme focuses on emotional learning and the development of social skills. Through the story of the fish learning to share his emotions, we offer games and creative projects that foster empathy, identification and expression of feelings, and teamwork in an inclusive environment that values individual differences.

Little Monsters
(3 to 4 years)

Based on "The Color Monster", this programme teaches children to identify and manage their emotions. Through artistic activities, role-playing, and storytelling, we promote emotional intelligence, empathy, and communication skills, creating a safe space that celebrates the diversity of feelings and experiences.

Little Lions
(4 to 5 years)

Inspired by "A Lion Inside", this programme emboldens children to find the courage and confidence within themselves. We engage children in activities that boost self-esteem, bravery, and the understanding that strength comes in many forms, and we encourage our little ones to express themselves and embrace their individuality. This programme also focuses on the importance of friendship, inclusivity, and empathy, teaching children that even the smallest voice can be powerful in a supportive and diverse community.

Little Doctors
(5 to 6 years)

Based on "Zog and the Flying Doctors", this programme encourages children to explore care, empathy, and teamwork through the symbolic play of being doctors and helpers. We incorporate activities that stimulate scientific curiosity and the desire to help others, fostering values of equality and collaboration, and preparing them to be compassionate change agents in a diverse and equitable world.

Our Facilities

Our facilities, designed with children’s learning and safety in mind, are currently under construction. Soon, we will invite interested families to our open days. Here’s a sneak peek:

  • Themed Classrooms: Equipped to meet the needs of each age group, providing a stimulating environment.
  • Outdoor Playground: Over 150 m² for outdoor play.
  • Multipurpose Room: For motor activities, naps, and indoor play on rainy days.

We are excited to open a space where every detail has been considered for the wellbeing and development of our little explorers.
